EVENT OVERVIEW

The purpose of this seminar is to provide an overview of the newly introduced
ISO 50001 standard and the Department of Energy’s Superior Energy Performance
compliance program. This format will cover the latest developments with both
of these programs and share lessons learned from early adopters.

This half-day session precedes the full-day November 2nd Enterprise Smart Grid
Conference.

Presenters Biographies

Mr. Pierre Salle, President/Managing Director of DEKRA Certification, Inc.
(formerly KEMA Quality) since 1992, has over 20 years of experience in
management systems certification. He holds an elected position as the
President of IAAR (Independent Association of Accredited Registrars), and
he is a board member of IAF (International Accreditation Forum) where he
represents Certification Bodies for the North America region. Mr. Salle has
extensive industry experience coupled with innovative management system
audit services development. Prior to Mr. Salle held positions of Director of
Marketing, Schlumberger and VP for The BOC Group.

Mr. Albert Egreczky, is an RABQSA Lead Auditor/Subject Matter Expert and
has over 20 years experience auditing complex management systems in
accordance to ISO 9001 standard. Mr. Egreczky has served as DEKRA Certification’s
Eastern Regional manager where he supervised and trained DEKRA’s staff to
perform Quality Management System audits. Mr. Egreczky is qualified to
perform Quality Management System audits in Engineering, Manufacturing,
Professional Services, Machinery and Equipment. He recently participated in
the Georgia Tech ISO 50001 Lead Auditor course. Mr. Egreczky has held Manager
of Engineering positions with Hartford Steam Boiler and Project Management
positions with Foster Wheeler Energy Corporation where he supervised employees
managing electric utility companies’ quality management systems during
construction and service outages (Pennsylvania Power Company, Northeast
Utilities Co.)
